The organization of a stay in Paris can often be complicated. What museum, what exhibition to choose?And which restaurant? We often forget that a simple walk allows to breath Paris and its special atmosphere. Saint-Germain-des-Pr\u00e9s is one of its districts that revive the magic of yesterday.\u00a0We suggest you to accompany us for a walk around Hotel des Marronniers. Do you come with us?<\/p>

From the hotel’s porch, turn left onto Rue Jacob. The pretty shop Ladur\u00e9e<\/a>, known for its colorful macaroons, indicates the crossing with Rue Bonaparte. Turn left and enjoy the shop windows as you head towards Place Saint-Germain, dominated by the church and the oldest bell tower of Paris (yes it is). Just opposite, Les Deux Magots<\/a> followed closely by Caf\u00e9 de Flore<\/a>, two mythical places of the 6th arrondissement. Jean-Paul Sartre and Simone de Beauvoir are names that you daily hear there.<\/p>

Let us go back\u00a0to our emblematic place. From the rue Bonaparte, turn left onto Rue de l’Abbaye. It must be specified that we are (Hotel des Marronniers included) on the floor of the old Abbey of Saint-Germain. You can even discover a part of the wall from this old building in a shop of the street. Go ahead and look to your left. The Place Furstemberg is a romantic break in the heart of the city. Continue on rue de l’Abbaye to the vibrant Rue de Buci. In the evening, terraces come alive and from time to time, musicians enchant passers-by …<\/p>

At the end of the Rue de Buci, turn right onto Rue de l’Ancienne Com\u00e9die. The name alone is full of promises. On your left, the Procope<\/a>, one of the oldest Parisian cafes. The decoration and quotes of great authors on the walls deserve you to pass the door. When arriving at Place de l’Od\u00e9on, take the left, on the Cour du Commerce Saint-Andr\u00e9 des Arts. Parisian passages are hidden little happiness … Lingering for a moment, you will feel the Paris of yesterday all around you … Then take back the rue de Buci and then on the right the rue de Seine. The vaulted gate of magnificent Institut de France takes you to the delightful Pont des Arts. On the other side of the Seine, the Louvre Museum. Take a break on the bridge, Paris encircles you, Paris embraces you …<\/p>
