Attention please! It is time to book a hotel for the Biennale Paris September 2018. Indeed, the great event will be back from 8 to 16 at the Grand Palais, and this 30th edition promises nice surprises!   For more than 60 years, the art world has been caught up in the Biennale Paris. And did you know that this big fair did not always have that name? In 1956, for the very first edition, it was the Antiques Fair and it was held at Porte de Versailles. Then, in 1962, the fair is renamed Antiques Biennale and finally, in 2017 Biennale Paris.

Marchants, international galleries, fine jewelery houses, the Biennale Paris is open to both amateurs and collectors. And among the exhibitors from around the world, there is a delicious artistic diversity. Hélène Bailly Gallery (stand A18), for example, presents impressionist, modern and contemporary art when the Nicolas Bourriaud Gallery (stand B29) unveils sculptures and bronzes from the 19th and 20th centuries.   To celebrate this new edition, the Grand Palais hosts an installation designed by the creator Jean-Charles de Castelbajac. We quote him here with pleasure: “History is my greatest source of inspiration. I distort it, claim it, dissect it, transform it to reveal it and project it in the light of the present and in the folds of the future with the mark of my imprint”. Pierre-Jean Chalençon, passionate since always by Napoleon, will submit in an exhibition, parts of his collection with among others, objects which belonged to Napoleon.   Program : the Gala dinner will take place on September 6th, the vernissage on the 7th. The event will open at noon and close at 8:00 pm except for September 13th at 10:30 pm and September 15th at midnight. You will find all the practical information on the official website of the event.   Finally do not forget to book a hotel for the Biennale Paris September 2018.
